Adam Pulit appointed head of Lipka Forest District in Poland

Adam Pulit will assume the position of Nadleśniczy (head) of the Lipka Forest District on 30 July 2026, succeeding Janusz Grabowski, who is retiring after more than three decades of service. The appointment follows a modern, multi‑stage competency competition conducted by the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Piła.

Pulit brings extensive forestry experience, having spent 16 years rising through the ranks of the Polish State Forests, and a strong public‑administration background as mayor of Złotów for over nine years. He holds an agricultural university degree, an MBA, and a postgraduate qualification in forest‑enterprise management. The official appointment ceremony took place on 27 July 2026.

The new leadership is expected to combine field expertise with managerial skills to continue the development of the Lipka forest area and maintain cooperation with local authorities and communities.
