Maguire addressed the incident, stating he has met with Walsh to clear the air and that the situation is distinct from previous disciplinary issues within the club.

Teammates, including Ben Hunt and former colleague Cody Walker, have expressed disappointment regarding the lack of a formal farewell match for the 36-year-old.
