Adam Salvador Martinez charged with child sexual assault in El Paso

Adam Salvador Martinez, a 36‑year‑old resident of El Paso, Texas, was arrested and charged with sexual assault of a child after his teenage step‑daughter alleged a prolonged abusive relationship. According to an affidavit and sworn statements, the alleged abuse began when the victim was 13 and continued from February 2024 to June 2026, encompassing more than 100 sexual encounters.

The victim, now 17, told investigators she was taken to obtain birth‑control pills and that some encounters occurred while other minors were present in the home. She said she tried to stop the abuse but Martinez ignored her objections. The El Paso Police Department’s Crimes‑Against‑Children unit interviewed the victim at the Advocacy Center for the Children of El Paso, and Martinez was booked into the downtown jail on a $150,000 bond.
