Adam Sandler's Grown Ups 3 Begins Filming in New Jersey

Filming for the third installment of the comedy franchise "Grown Ups" has started in New Jersey. Adam Sandler announced the production on Instagram, sharing a photo of himself at a restaurant table with longtime co‑stars Chris Rock, David Spade, Kevin James, Rob Schneider, Salma Hayek, Maya Rudolph, Maria Bello, Bailee Madison, Deon Cole and his wife Jackie Sandler. The post, which has amassed over 5.5 million likes, includes the caption “We missed you!”.

The film is directed by Kyle Newacheck and co‑written by Sandler and his frequent collaborator Tim Herlihy. Netflix is producing the sequel in partnership with Sony Pictures, continuing the series that previously earned $272 million and $247 million worldwide for the first two movies. Returning cast members also include Shaquille O'Neal, Colin Quinn, Tim Meadows, Cheri Oteri, Ellen Cleghorne and Nick Swardson, while new faces such as Julie Bowen, Jake Goldberg, Alexys Nycole Sanchez, Sadie and Sunny Sandler, and Kamil McFadden have joined the lineup.
