Adam Wharton attracts interest from major European clubs
Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton has become a primary target for several major European clubs following his successful performances in the Premier League. While Palace refused to sell the 22-year-old during the recent summer window due to high valuation estimates—reportedly between £60m and £100m—interest remains high.
Chelsea and Manchester City both expressed interest in the left-footed playmaker this summer. Reports indicate that Real Madrid is also monitoring his situation for potential future moves, possibly as far out as 2027.
Former Chelsea player John Obi Mikel has predicted that Manchester United will attempt to sign Wharton next summer, despite the club's recent midfield reinforcements. Wharton, who joined Palace from Blackburn Rovers, has been a key figure in the club's recent successes, including winning the FA Cup and the Europa Conference League.
