Adam Wingard releases trailer for action-thriller Onslaught

Director Adam Wingard has released the trailer for his new A24 action-thriller, ‘Onslaught – Assalto Finale’. The film is scheduled to arrive in Italian cinemas on October 1, 2026, distributed by I Wonder Pictures.

Set in the New Mexico desert, the story follows Celeste, a single mother and former army sniper played by Adria Arjona. Living in an isolated community, Celeste is forced to reclaim her military skills to protect her daughter, Daisy, after three genetically modified super-soldiers escape from a secret government facility and head toward her.

The film is described as a blend of action, horror, and survival elements, drawing comparisons to a mix of ‘Terminator’ and slasher films. The trailer highlights a highly physical cinematic style featuring explosions, close-quarters combat, and high-stakes chases.
