Adamawa PDP inaugurates new state and local executives

The Adamawa State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has inaugurated new executive committees at the state, local government, and ward levels. This restructuring follows the successful completion of congresses across the state and is intended to reposition the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The inauguration ceremony took place in Yola at Mahmud Ribadu Square. Hon. Jalo Danga, chairman of the congress electoral committee, stated that the exercise was conducted peacefully and in accordance with the party’s constitution, providing a substantive leadership structure at all three administrative levels.

Newly elected state chairman Belmont Dogo described the inauguration as the beginning of a new chapter for the party in Adamawa. He called for reconciliation among members, urging them to set aside personal differences and focus on strengthening grassroots structures to ensure victory in the upcoming elections.
