Adamawa road accident kills six on Yola-Girei Road

Six people died following a motor accident on the Yola-Girei Road in Adamawa State. The Adamawa State Police Command confirmed the incident, noting that victims were transported to a hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Police units from the Girei Divisional Headquarters, Federal Housing, and the Central Motor Traffic Division were deployed to the scene to evacuate the victims and manage traffic flow. Commissioner of Police Kabir Hassan expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and urged motorists to adhere to traffic regulations and avoid speeding to prevent future fatalities.

This incident marks the fourth recorded crash on the Yola-Girei Road in less than a month, with more than 10 people killed in accidents on this stretch of road during that period.
