Adams Acht film dramatizes 1960 Olympic rowing gold

The film ‘Adams Acht’ has premiered, dramatizing the historical ‘Miracle of Ratzeburg.’ The story follows coach Karl Adam, who assembled an underdog rowing team in the late 1950s that went on to win Olympic gold in the German eight in 1960.

Actor Felix Kammerer, known from the Vienna Burgtheater, portrays rower Hans Lenk. In an interview regarding the production, Kammerer discussed the intense physical training required for the role, which resulted in significant weight gain, and the challenges of balancing the film shoot with his responsibilities as a father.
