Adamstown Rosebud former president apologizes regarding Ryan Campbell allegations

Craig Fisher, the former president of Adamstown Rosebud Junior Football Club, has expressed regret for not doing more following allegations of verbal abuse involving Ryan Campbell.

In November 2021, Fisher’s then 14-year-old daughter, Jasmin, reportedly experienced a distressing incident where Campbell allegedly humiliated her in front of others, calling her lazy and telling her she should be embarrassed. Fisher stated that the incident left the teenager inconsolable.

Campbell, who currently serves as the technical director of the Newcastle Jets girls' academy, has denied the allegations of abuse. He stated that his intention was to encourage the team to improve during halftime and offered an apology if his words caused any upset. He also noted that he could not recall a similar alleged incident from the previous year.
