Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo appointed Chancellor of Hausa Community in Europe

Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo has been appointed as the Chancellor of the Hausa Community in Europe. The announcement was made by Alhaji Surajo Jankado, the Emir of the Hausa Community in Europe, during the International Hausa Day celebrations held in Paris, France.

The appointment recognizes Gwarzo’s efforts in promoting the Hausa language and culture, as well as his work regarding the welfare of Hausa communities across Europe. In his acceptance speech, Gwarzo pledged to collaborate with stakeholders to preserve Hausa heritage and ensure younger generations remain connected to their cultural identity and values.

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, represented by spokesperson Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, congratulated Gwarzo, describing the appointment as meritorious and a well-deserved recognition of his community service in both Nigeria and Europe.
