Adana Alparslan Türkeş University and Sunar Yatırım establish gastronomy academy
Adana Alparslan Türkeş University (ATÜ) and Sunar Yatırım Sanayi ve Ticaret A. Ş. have signed a cooperation protocol to establish the "Sunar Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Academy." The academy will be located within the university's dining hall building.
Under the terms of the agreement, Sunar Yatırım will donate all necessary kitchen equipment and hardware to support the academy's practical training facilities. The initiative is designed to allow students to translate theoretical knowledge into practice in a fully equipped environment, with the goal of training qualified chefs and experts to international industry standards.
ATÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan Sözen emphasized the importance of university-industry collaboration for regional development, stating that this model aims to strengthen the bridge between education and the professional world and preserve Adana's rich culinary heritage through scientific infrastructure.
