Adana begins filming for new series Susuz Yaz

Filming has commenced in Adana for the new Kanal D series ‘Susuz Yaz’, an adaptation of the work by Necati Cumalı. Produced by Ay Yapım, the drama is set in the Çukurova region during the 1970s.

The story focuses on two brothers, Osman and Hasan, living in the village of Çarlak. Tensions arise when Osman’s love for a woman named Bahar disrupts the family dynamic, coinciding with escalating conflicts over the distribution of water and land in the village.

The lead cast includes Mert Ramazan Demir as Osman, Lizge Cömert as Bahar, and Batuhan Bozkurt Yüzügüleç as Hasan. The production is directed by Yusuf Pirhasan and Mehmet Can Bindal.
