Adana Governor Announces Massive Security Deployment for Eid al-Adha

Governor Mustafa Yavuz of Turkey’s Adana province announced extensive security measures for the upcoming Eid al‑Adha holiday. He said 5,458 police and gendarmerie officers will be on duty, supported by two helicopters, 35 UAV/SİHA drones, 40 armored vehicles and six water‑borne units. Additional resources include 24 agricultural teams, 60 veterinarians and other municipal services.

Yavuz emphasized the aim of guaranteeing public safety and smooth traffic flow, urging drivers not to operate while fatigued, to avoid improper overtaking and to respect speed limits. The deployment is intended to allow citizens to celebrate the holiday in peace and security.
