Adana woman critically injured after husband defies restraining order, stabs

In Adana, 37‑year‑old Çiğdem Er, a mother of two, was severely wounded when her husband Gökhan Er (42) entered her home on July 2 despite a court‑issued restraining order. He repeatedly stabbed her in the back and liver, leaving her in intensive care. Police arrested Er and a court later ordered his detention.

In Hatay’s Kırıkhan district, 34‑year‑old H.Y. was arrested after threatening and beating his 24‑year‑old wife S.Y. with a knife in front of their children, leading to charges of assault and deprivation of liberty.
