Adani Enterprises director urges India to prioritize intellectual infrastructure

Pranav Adani, director of Adani Enterprises Ltd, addressed the Foundation Day celebrations of the Chintan Research Foundation in New Delhi, calling on India and other nations to invest in "intellectual infrastructure" with the same seriousness as physical infrastructure. He emphasized that institutions capable of long‑term, integrated thinking are essential to navigate interlinked challenges such as energy security, climate transition, artificial intelligence, demographic change, urbanisation, water stress and geopolitical competition.

Event speakers included Shishir Priyadarshi, president of the foundation, who highlighted the accelerating global transformations, former Norwegian climate minister Erik Solheim, who stressed the need to align growth with sustainability, and MP Dr Shashi Tharoor, who argued that think‑tanks must help policymakers avoid short‑term, ideological decisions.
