Adani Group and Kachchh University launch Green Energy Centre

Adani Skills and Education (ASE), a skill development unit of the Adani Group, has partnered with Kachchh University to launch the Green Energy Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bhuj, Gujarat. Inaugurated by Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat, the center aims to build a skilled workforce for India’s expanding renewable energy sector.

The facility is expected to provide specialized training to more than 10,000 students annually in areas including solar PV technology, wind energy systems, hybrid energy systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and digital and industrial automation. The center will also promote applied research and entrepreneurship within the green energy field.

Karan Adani, Director of the Adani Group, stated that the center will prepare youth for current and emerging global employment opportunities. This initiative follows the creation of over 21,000 direct and indirect jobs in the Kutch district due to the group’s green energy projects over the last two years.
