Adani Group companies report profit growth and receive positive brokerage outlooks

Adani Power reported a 42% increase in Q1 net profit, rising to Rs 4,805.69 crore compared to Rs 3,384.86 crore in the previous year. Revenue for the quarter grew 34% to Rs 18,901 crore. Following these results, the company's board approved raising up to Rs 15,000 crore through the Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) route.

In related developments, Motilal Oswal initiated coverage on Adani Enterprises with a ‘BUY’ rating and a sum-of-the-parts target price of Rs 3,880, suggesting a 25% upside. The brokerage highlighted the company's role as an infrastructure incubator, projecting consolidated EBITDA to grow from approximately Rs 14,000 crore in FY26 to about Rs 29,900 crore by FY29, driven by airport commissioning, new-energy capacity, and copper business scaling.
