Adani Group eyes acquisition of energy storage firm VTTI

The Adani Group is reportedly evaluating a potential acquisition of VTTI, a Rotterdam-based energy storage company. The transaction could value the company at approximately €3 billion ($3.4 billion).

Sources indicate that Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is considering selling its entire 10% stake in VTTI. Other current shareholders, including Vitol SA and IFM Investors, which each hold roughly 45%, may also consider reducing their holdings.

VTTI operates an extensive global network of terminals across 16 countries, providing storage, blending, and processing for products such as crude oil, liquefied petroleum gas, chemicals, and biofuels. While discussions are ongoing, neither Adani nor VTTI has publicly confirmed the sale process, and there is no certainty that a formal deal will materialize.
