ADDA Simfònica Alicante to perform at Ljubljana Festival

As part of the 74th Ljubljana Festival, the ADDA Simfònica Alicante orchestra, led by conductor Josep Vicent, will perform at Cankarjev dom. The orchestra, which was founded in 2018 and is based in the Valencia region of Spain, is scheduled for two performances.

One performance features a new dance interpretation of Sergei Prokofiev’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’. A second concert on August 27 will showcase orchestral masterworks, including Saint-Saëns’ Cello Concerto, Beethoven’s Violin Concerto, and Tchaikovsky’s Fourth Symphony. This performance will feature legendary violinist Pinchas Zukerman and cellist Enrico Dindo as soloists.

Conductor Josep Vicent expressed a deep personal and artistic connection to Ljubljana, noting that the city has become a significant part of his musical life and that he values the city's cultural vibrancy and the attentive nature of its audience.
