About 21% of lawyers, one‑quarter of police officers, and 10‑12% of doctors report substance‑use issues, and 70% of employers say staff struggle with prescription drug or alcohol abuse. Becky, a resident of Rochester, shared her personal story of marriage‑related drug use and the fear that kept her hidden behind a gated community.
