Addiko Bank introduces Mastercard Click to Pay in Serbia

Addiko Bank has become the first bank in Serbia to provide its clients with Mastercard Click to Pay. This service is designed to streamline online shopping by eliminating the need for customers to manually enter card numbers, expiration dates, and security codes for every transaction.

Users can add their Addiko Mastercard to a Click to Pay profile via the Addiko Mobile app. Once set up, the system recognizes the profile at any online merchant marked with the Click to Pay symbol, allowing the user to select their preferred card across phones, tablets, and computers. The service utilizes encryption and advanced security technologies to ensure card data is not shared with merchants, with each payment requiring a secure authentication process.

Srđan Kondić, President of the Executive Board of Addiko Bank a.d. Beograd, stated that the solution aims to provide concrete value through saved time and increased security without requiring customers to learn new processes.
