Addison Rae joins Fortnite's Icon Series as playable character

Epic Games announced that TikTok star and pop singer Addison Rae will be added to Fortnite as a new Icon Series character. The digital outfit will debut in the in‑game shop on Thursday, offering two skins – one based on her "Fame is a Gun" music‑video look and a "Famous" outfit inspired by her stage wardrobe, each available in white, pink and yellow variants. Additional accessories such as a turtle‑backpack and themed pickaxes will also be sold.

Rae said the collaboration required meticulous 3D modeling to capture her appearance accurately, noting the team’s attention to detail. She recalled playing Fortnite in high school and expressed excitement about fans being able to play as her in the battle‑royale game.

The launch marks another crossover between mainstream pop culture and the gaming platform, expanding Fortnite’s roster of celebrity avatars.
