Additive Manufacturing Forum 2026 to be held in Adelaide

The Additive Manufacturing Cooperative Research Centre (AMCRC) will host the Additive Manufacturing Forum 2026 in Adelaide on October 28-29. The two-day event aims to bring together industry, research, and government representatives to discuss the future of advanced manufacturing, sovereign capability, and commercialization opportunities.

The forum will feature the launch of the AMCRC’s South Australian Node, an initiative intended to foster collaboration and accelerate the adoption of additive manufacturing technologies within South Australia. Keynote speaker Joris Peels, Vice President Consulting at Additive Manufacturing Research, is scheduled to present ‘Australia: The Island Advantage’, which will analyze global industry trends and Australia’s strategic position in the sector.

AMCRC Managing Director Simon Marriott stated that while Australia possesses the necessary expertise and research capability to become a global leader in the field, achieving success will require significant collaboration between policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders.
