Adel Emam image debunked as AI-manipulated photo of Salim Khan

A viral image circulating on social media, claiming to show a recent appearance of Egyptian actor Adel Emam inside a car, has been identified as a fabrication. Investigations reveal the image actually depicts the late Indian screenwriter Salim Khan, father of Bollywood star Salman Khan.

The image was manipulated using artificial intelligence to alter facial features, making the subject appear more like Emam, and included visual effects to mimic an authentic, spontaneous mobile phone photograph. These fabrications are reportedly used by some social media accounts to drive engagement and profit by exploiting the actor's absence from the public eye.

Members of Emam's family have denied the rumors, confirming that the actor is in good health and living a normal life among his family and grandchildren. They have urged the public to respect his privacy during his retirement and to avoid spreading unverified information.
