Ukraine aims to increase drone attacks on Russia to 1,000 daily

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has ordered the military to significantly increase the frequency of long-range drone attacks against Russia. The current target is to reach 1,000 drone strikes per day, a substantial increase from the current rate of approximately 300 daily strikes.

In recent weeks, these operations have primarily targeted Russian oil refineries, with at least 21 strikes reported since the beginning of August. The objective of these strikes is to disrupt the Russian energy sector and fuel supplies. Additionally, Zelenskyy noted that the United States has informed Ukraine regarding several recent negotiations held in Moscow, though the Kremlin maintains that no peace talks are currently underway.
