Adelaide and Perth brace for cool, wet winter weather in Australia

Adelaide is set for a chilly, unsettled stretch of winter weather, with daytime temperatures staying well below average. Forecast lows dip to 7 °C on Friday and highs hover around 14‑16 °C through the week, while Saturday is expected to be the wettest day with a high chance of showers and up to 8 mm of rain.

Perth will enjoy a brief spell of sunshine and mild winter temperatures, with four consecutive dry days and maximum temperatures rising from 18 °C on Wednesday to 20 °C on Saturday. A cold front is forecast for Sunday, bringing a high chance of showers and cooler conditions around 18 °C, before a return to partly cloudy, dry weather early next week.
