Adelaide University launches 13‑week Clinical Dermoscopy certificate for Australian nurses

Adelaide University’s Rosemary Bryant AO Research Centre is offering a 13‑week Professional Certificate in Clinical Dermoscopy aimed at Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses across Australia. The part‑time programme combines online theory with a two‑day face‑to‑face workshop, teaching practical dermoscopy, digital imaging and patient‑centred skin‑cancer care.

The course intends to boost early detection of skin cancerAustralia records the world’s highest rates, with two‑thirds of the population diagnosed by age 70. Graduates will be equipped to perform skin checks, educate patients on prevention and navigate referral pathways to general practitioners and specialists.
