Adelaide University launches VFX Graduate Certificate with Rising Sun Pictures

Adelaide University, in partnership with award‑winning visual‑effects studio Rising Sun Pictures, has introduced a Graduate Certificate in Compositing and Tracking. The programme is delivered on‑site at Rising Sun Pictures' Adelaide studio and provides specialised training across VFX departments such as Prep, Layout and Compositing.

Students learn industry‑standard software—including Nuke, Maya, Silhouette and 3D Equalizer—and gain practical experience in compositing, rotoscoping, paint, character match‑move and 3D tracking. The course culminates in an industry‑standard visual‑effects showreel and equips graduates with the skills and professional contacts needed to work in global VFX productions.
