Adelaide University outlines alumni engagement and recognition vision

Adelaide University has outlined its vision for its alumni community, which consists of over 430,000 members. The university aims to strengthen connections and facilitate opportunities in education, research, equity, and civic leadership.

To promote inclusion and equity, the institution utilizes gender-neutral language, using the term ‘alum’ for individuals and ‘alumni’ for the collective group.

The university also recognizes the global impact of its graduates through various initiatives, including the Alumni Impact Awards. Graduates are further honored through national and international accolades such as the Australia Day Honours, King’s Birthday Honours, and prestigious scholarships.
