Adelaide University outlines student complaint and health procedures

Adelaide University has outlined specific institutional procedures regarding student complaints and health-related assessments.

The Student Complaints Resolution Procedure provides a framework for prospective, current, and past students to raise informal or formal complaints concerning their experience with the university, its agents, or related parties. This includes issues regarding university services, facilities, or education. The procedure excludes matters such as staff misconduct, sexual assault reports, and formal appeals, which are managed under separate university policies.

Additionally, the university has established a Student Health Assessment and Medical Leave Procedure. This process is designed to manage serious health conditions that may impact a student’s wellbeing, academic progress, or the safety of the campus community. The procedure involves identifying and responding to health concerns through designated officers in departments such as Student Wellbeing & Safety, Counselling, and Access & Inclusion.
