The upcoming program features international authors such as Min Jin Lee, Dave Eggers, Caro Claire Burke, and Pulitzer Prize winner Daniel Kraus. Local headliners include Trent Dalton, Meg Mason, Omar Musa, Magda Szubanski, and Pip Williams.

Milsom noted that literary festivals serve as a barometer for the health of democracy. She stated that while audiences may disagree with writers, the principle of supporting a writer's capacity to speak is essential for arts organizations, provided they do not breach legislation.
