Adelante Andalucía targets Granada seats in upcoming general elections

Adelante Andalucía has identified Granada as a strategic location to secure a seat from the PP and Vox in the upcoming November 29 general elections. During a meeting at the party's new headquarters in Granada, spokesperson José Ignacio García stated that polls suggest the party represents the most effective vote for voters in the province.

García highlighted housing and transportation as critical issues, criticizing the proliferation of tourist apartments in city centers and the historical neglect of the regional railway system. He accused both the PSOE and PP governments of failing to provide adequate train frequency and reliability for the province.

The political landscape in Andalusia is characterized by significant fragmentation. A total of 89 candidacies are competing for votes across six provinces. While major parties like the PP, PSOE, and Vox will run in all provinces, the left-wing vote is divided among several groups, including Adelante Andalucía, Podemos, and Frente Amplio.
