ADEMI launches energy efficiency program for bakeries in Oberá
The Agency for Economic Development of Misiones (ADEMI) has launched the AR-ADEENPAN program in Oberá, an energy efficiency initiative specifically designed for the bakery sector. The program aims to help local businesses identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and lower production costs through technical diagnostics, training, and access to provincial financing for technological reconversion.
Klaus Burkhart, an international expert from the German Senior Experten Service (SES), will lead the initiative. Over a four-week period, Burkhart will conduct on-site assessments and training sessions in Oberá and Posadas. The program offers free technical assistance to help bakeries—whether they use wood, gas, or electric equipment—interpret consumption records and determine which technologies are most suitable for modernization.
The launch was held at the headquarters of the Regional Chamber of Industry, Production, and Commerce of Oberá (CRIPCO), with participation from local authorities and business representatives. ADEMI President Graciela De Moura noted that the program addresses a critical need for the bakery sector to optimize costs and remain competitive.
