Ademola Lookman scores as Atletico Madrid defeat Manchester United

Ademola Lookman ended an eight-game goal drought by scoring for Atletico Madrid in a 2-0 UEFA Champions League victory against Manchester United at the Estadio Metropolitano.

Coming off the bench to replace Alex Baena, the Nigerian international converted a rebound in the 71st minute to secure the win. Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone praised Lookman’s performance, noting his strength in one-on-one situations and his ability to find scoring form during critical moments. Simeone added that while the winger is still working toward greater consistency, his contribution provided a vital boost to the team’s European campaign.
