Aden blood donation campaign launched at Salah al-Din Military Hospital

The National Blood Transfusion and Research Center in Aden has launched a field blood donation campaign at Salah al-Din Military Hospital in the Al-Buraiqah district. The initiative follows a call from the Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasim Mohammed Buhaybeh, to bolster blood reserves and support patients and wounded individuals in need of urgent transfusions.

Local residents and youth from the surrounding areas participated in the drive. Dr. Haidara Salem Haidara, director of Salah al-Din Military Hospital, stated that holding the campaign at the hospital aims to make the service more accessible to the local community and encourage participation, particularly from individuals with rare blood types. The campaign is intended to support both medical cases and personnel on the front lines.
