Aden Governor inspects Al-Buraiqah services and IDP camp

Aden Governor Abdulrahman Sheikh conducted a field visit to the Al-Buraiqah district to monitor the work of the local authority and evaluate security and health services in the western part of the capital.

During his visit to the Al-Buraiqah local council, Sheikh reviewed the implementation of investment programs for the final quarter of 2026 and discussed developmental priorities with district director Ahmed Ali Al-Daoudi. The Governor emphasized the need to prioritize projects that directly impact citizens' lives and improve coordination between executive offices.

Sheikh also inspected a displaced persons camp in the Al-Fardous area, which houses families from Taiz and Al-Hudaydah. He oversaw the distribution of 500 food baskets provided by the local authority, the Executive Unit for IDP Camp Management, and the Maa al-Samaa Foundation as part of urgent humanitarian interventions.
