Aden Governor reviews investment program implementation

Abdulrahman Sheikh, the Minister of State and Governor of Aden, chaired a meeting with district directors and officials from the planning, international cooperation, and finance offices. The meeting focused on reviewing the implementation status of the local authority's investment program for the period from January to June 2026.

The session included a review of ongoing projects with existing commitments, as well as new priority projects designed to meet the essential needs of Aden's residents based on the financial resources and capabilities of each district. Reports also covered actual spending levels and the total financial resources collected by the local authority.

Governor Sheikh addressed challenges hindering project progress and emphasized the need for continuous monitoring and the immediate reporting of obstacles. He stressed the importance of directing available resources toward priority projects that improve basic services and called for enhanced coordination between districts and financial and planning offices to ensure optimal resource utilization.
