Aden International Airport undergoes runway rehabilitation

Abdulraqib Abdulqawi Saleh, the Deputy of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology, inspected the operations at Aden International Airport. The visit focused on the ongoing project to rehabilitate the airport's main runway, a project funded by the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen.

During the inspection, Saleh reviewed the progress of the runway works and received technical explanations from the executing company regarding implementation stages aimed at enhancing operational readiness and improving aviation safety and security. He also visited various airport departments and passenger terminals to evaluate service quality and emphasized the need for improved coordination between departments to ensure smooth passenger movement and adherence to international aviation standards.
