Aden leaders address humanitarian aid and political coordination
Political and humanitarian activities have intensified in Aden. Fahmi Al-Suhaibi, President of the Southern Future Council, visited the Salah al-Din displaced persons camp to inspect the living conditions of families arriving from Mocha and Bab al-Mandab. Al-Suhaibi called on international organizations and donors to increase humanitarian intervention, specifically providing food, water, healthcare, shelter, and education to address the suffering caused by conflict.
Simultaneously, the Southern National Movement Council held its first periodic meeting in Aden, chaired by Abdurraouf Zain Al-Saqqaf. The council discussed political and organizational developments, emphasizing the need for unified southern political action and coordination with local authorities and Saudi Arabia. The meeting focused on strengthening the council's presence in various governorates and developing a strategic vision to address current regional and domestic challenges.
