Aden officials launch second national and creative figures recognition program

Aden Deputy, Mohammed Saeed Salem, has announced the official preparations for the second edition of the recognition program for national and creative figures for 2026. The initiative, sponsored by Minister of State and Governor of Aden, Abdulrahman Sheikh, aims to honor exceptional social, national, and creative personalities who have dedicated their lives to serving the city and its people.

The program focuses on celebrating individuals who have enriched the cultural and humanitarian landscape of Aden. It includes a specific initiative to honor those facing health challenges or those deserving of recognition within their homes and local forums, described by officials as a moral and humanitarian duty to express loyalty to their contributions.

Electricity Minister Adnan Al-Kaf has reportedly expressed support for the initiative, which officials say promotes social solidarity and positive community spirit. Final arrangements are expected to be completed in the coming days to launch the program's activities.
