Aden Post employees arrested for Yemen Mobile stock fraud

Police in the Crater district of Aden have arrested two employees of Aden Post for their involvement in a forgery scheme targeting Yemen Mobile shareholders. The suspects allegedly used their professional access to obtain private data and information regarding shareholders and subscribers.

According to Colonel Nabil Amer, director of the Crater Police Department, the individuals used this information to forge stock ownership certificates. This allowed them to withdraw dividend payments belonging to shareholders without their knowledge or consent. Preliminary investigations indicate that the total amount withdrawn, when converted from Yemeni Riyals to Saudi Riyals, is approximately 77,653 SAR.

Authorities have urged all Yemen Mobile shareholders to review their accounts to ensure the integrity of their balances and dividends. Any individuals who discover unauthorized withdrawals are advised to report to the Sira Prosecution with supporting documentation to assist in the ongoing investigation.
