Aden University researcher represents Yemen at ALECSO conference

Madiha Abdullah Oubal, a teaching assistant in the Mathematics Department at the University of Aden, is participating in the ALECSO Conference for Innovators and Creators held in Oman from October 26 to 28.

Oubal is presenting an innovative mathematical application designed for food security and smart agriculture. The tool uses mathematical and scientific data to determine the optimal times for planting various crops based on climatic and environmental variables.

The conference is organized by the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) in collaboration with the Omani Scientific Research Authority, the Omani National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, and the Arab Open University. The University of Aden faculty noted that this participation highlights the ability of young Yemeni researchers to compete in regional scientific forums.
