Aden university students to receive free bus transport

Yemen's Minister of Transport, Mohsen Haidara al-Omari, has directed the General Authority for Land Transport Regulation and the Local Land Transport Corporation to provide free bus services for university students in Aden for one month.

The initiative aims to alleviate the difficulties faced by students due to a local transportation crisis caused by fuel shortages. The Ministry will cover all operational costs, including diesel, to ensure students can reach their universities without additional financial burdens.

Starting next Sunday, five buses will operate across various districts, including Tawahi, Maalla, Crater, Khor Maksar, Sheikh Othman, Mansoura, Al-Buraiqah, and Dar Sad. Authorities have been instructed to coordinate specific pickup points and routes to ensure safe and organized service.
