Adens Life Science wins Grand Prize at MedTech Innovator APAC

South Korean medical device company Adens Life Science won the Grand Prize at the 2026 MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific Grand Finals held in Singapore. The company received $175,000 for its victory and an additional $5,000 for the Best Video Competition Award.

Other South Korean companies also received recognition at the event. Lumino Medison secured the $25,000 Dovetail Regulatory Award. Several other domestic firms, including Prevenotics and U2 Medtech, were among the 20 companies selected for the final cohort from a pool of approximately 680 global applicants.

The success of these companies is linked to the MedTech Open Innovation program managed by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI). This initiative facilitates collaboration between domestic medical device firms and global investors or industry leaders such as Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Becton Dickinson, B. Braun, and Philips Ventures.

To support international expansion, KHIDI provides consulting on FDA licensing and market access through the University of Utah Center for Medical Innovation, as well as networking opportunities via the Texas Medical Center.
