Adeola Ajayi honored by RATTAWU as DSS Director-General

The Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU) has honored Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi, the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), with the Golden Era Pillar of Critical and Strategic Intelligence for National Development Award.

During a strategic engagement in Abuja, RATTAWU President Comrade Prince Emeka Kalu commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment of Ajayi. Kalu described the Director-General as a competent, detribalized, and silent achiever whose commitment to national service transcends ethnic, religious, and political considerations.

The award was presented as part of the union’s activities commemorating its 50th anniversary. The initiative aims to recognize individuals and institutions that have made significant contributions to Nigeria’s security, democracy, culture, and national development.
