ADEPA elects new Executive Council for 2026-2027 term

The Association of Argentine Journalistic Entities (ADEPA) has elected its new Executive Council for the 2026-2027 term. The announcement followed the conclusion of the 64th General Assembly held in San Miguel de Tucumán.

Daniel Dessein, president of La Gaceta (Tucumán), was elected president of the association. The leadership team includes Cecilia Gargatagli (Mirador Provincial) as first Vice President, Luis H. Tarsitano (El Tribuno) as second Vice President, and Pablo Deluca (Infobae) as General Secretary.

Other key appointments include Tomás Vio (Diario Olé) as Secretary of Organization, Agustino Fontevecchia (Perfil) as Secretary of Institutional Relations, and Juan Carlos Fernández Llano (El Libertador) as Treasurer. The council also established leadership for various commissions, including Martín Etchevers (Clarín) heading the Press Freedom and Information Commission and José Santa María (Página/12) leading the Economic Affairs and Resolutions Commission.
