ADEPA elects new Executive Council for 2026-2027 period

The Association of Argentine Journalistic Entities (ADEPA) has elected its new Executive Council for the 2026-2027 period during its 64th General Assembly in San Miguel de Tucumán. Daniel Dessein, director of La Gaceta de Tucumán, was chosen as president.

The new leadership features broad federal representation from various provinces. Key officials include Cecilia Gargatagli as first Vice President, Luis H. Tarsitano as second Vice President, and Pablo Deluca as General Secretary. Other notable appointments include Tomás Vio as Secretary of Organization and Agustino Fontevecchia as Secretary of Institutional Relations.

During the assembly, discussions also addressed the future of journalism, specifically the challenges and impact of artificial intelligence on the profession. The event concluded with a formal ceremony at the Casa Histórica de Tucumán.
