Adepme joins JICA FemPOWER Africa initiative in Japan

The Agency for the Development and Supervision of Small and Medium Enterprises (Adepme) participated in the JICA FemPOWER Africa initiative held in Japan. The program aimed to improve support for female entrepreneurship by bringing together female entrepreneurs and representatives from various public and private sectors across several African countries.

The event featured training sessions, cross-country exchanges, and site visits designed to introduce new practices and approaches to business support. Through this initiative, Senegalese SMEs and staff participated in workshops to share experiences regarding the realities faced by African SMEs and to explore solutions developed within the Japanese business context. Adepme intends to use these insights to enhance its support frameworks for SMEs and women entrepreneurs in Senegal.
