Adesina Adegbite appeals for mercy for Madonna University nursing students

Adesina Adegbite, former General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association and the West African Bar Association, has appealed to the management of Madonna University to reconsider recent disciplinary actions against nursing students.

The appeal follows reports that the university expelled one final-year nursing student and suspended 14 others after a video involving the students went viral on TikTok. Adegbite urged the university to apply principles of fairness, proportionality, and compassion, warning that the current sanctions could severely impact the students' academic and professional futures.
