Adfar discusses Tax Reform impacts on pharmaceutical retail
The Association for Pharmacy Development (Adfar) held the ‘Conexão Adfar’ event in Rio de Janeiro to discuss the impacts and opportunities presented by the ongoing Tax Reform for the pharmaceutical retail sector. The transition process is expected to continue until 2033.
Discussions focused on practical strategies for pharmacies to prepare for these changes, emphasizing the critical roles of technology and accounting in making assertive decisions. Experts highlighted the need for specialized systems, such as A7Pharma, which integrates with the Federal Revenue Service's tax calculator to automate tax assessment and rate application.
The event was supported by several organizations, including Ascoferj, Alpha 7, Avant Fiscal, Farma Contábil, Febrafar, Grupo RVZ, and Simtax.
